My Husband organized a wine tour to the Harwood Estate, and it was fantastic! It was my birthday, and we showed up, unannounced, we sampled all of the wines (and they are ALL Fantastic!) and even had an escorted tour of the vineyard and the grounds. If you have a chance i Highly recommend trying it out! I can't wait to go back!

Wife & I enjoyed '10 Marquesa from Harwood yesterday. Port style fortified wine using Marquette grape REALLY enjoyed it! 5 stars
 
 

On very special occasions, or when you have a group, a winery tour is something everybody can agree on. The idyllic atmosphere of the vineyards and the fascinating ambiance of the winery blend into an unforgettable experience for your group gathering. While you never need an appointment to visit us, we're always happy to be able to do something extra when you arrange your group visit in advance. More formal seatings for larger groups may also be scheduled with all the frills: fine food catering (including special menus), live entertainment, garden tents, and outdoor recreation. We can also help you arrange local accommodation.

Guided-Chauffeured Tours / Year-round

You're always welcome to visit us in your own vehicle, during open hours, without any need for reservations. We'll even try to help you plan your next stop based on the wines you like and the adventure you're looking for.
There are also professional wine tour guides who put together ad-hoc customized tours. A professionally-guided, chauffeured wine tour is not only an elegant way to enjoy the wines of Prince Edward County, it's also a safe way. There are many excellent travel and touring companies in Ontario that feature guided wine tours to the Prince Edward County region. This isn't a list of all of them. It's just a mention of the ones we know of who offer tours of our Hillier Appellation, and who maintain a schedule during some, or all of the winter months. This list may grow or shrink regularly:

Catered Events / April through October

Fully catered events can be arranged with food provided by any of several of The County's fine restaurants. There are some world-class Chefs in The County who know well how to pair food with Harwood wines. Some offer a selection of set menus for various types of events and various time-of-day service. We can also help arrange party tents, seating and tableware from local vendors.

Light Snacks and Brunches / May 15 to October 1

Our menu of light snacks is available from Noon to 3 PM on Saturdays and Sundays. We are licensed to serve wine by the glass. We're also happy to arrange something a bit more substantial for larger groups. Give us a call ahead of time to discuss your midday gathering.

Group Tours / Year-round

For groups of four or more: we'd be pleased to be your host for a vineyard and winery tour with tastings and snacks. If you'd like to sample several County wineries, we'll help you locate a professional tour operator in The County.
