☼  The vines are asleep for the winter.

Our European varietals (like the Pinots, Chardonnay, Gewurtz) get special treatment; we bury several canes from each vine under pyramids of earth for the winter. We call this "hilling-up"

The cold-hardier mixed-heritage vines (like the Frontenacs, Marquette) are happy above ground until it gets below -25.

We're hoping for some snow to help protect the buried vines, and maybe a little warmer winter than last year!

While the vines may be sleeping, our Tasting Room is wide awake! We'll be closing at 14:00 New Years Eve and closed News Years Day. But, otherwise, open all winter.

☼  We bring our wines to several winter markets. Check the Farmers' Markets link in our Winesite for the schedule.

☼  Watch our Events & Shows page for the full 2016 listing.

☼  We've received several new awards for our current vintages. Twenty-nine awards in all and that's just for the wines on our shelves and website today. Several have won multiple international awards.

Bay of Quinte Region, Prince Edward County and the Ontario Government have honoured us with the 2015 Business Sustainability Award in consideration of our ecological efforts.

Our 2013 Windward White blend is now available at select LCBO stores.

☼  Our Tasting Room is open every day from 11 AM to 5 PM from November 4th until April 1st. Otherwise, until 6 PM. We will be closing at 14:00 New Years Eve and closed News Years Day

☼  Since we do our tastings in the vineyards, the Barrel Cellar and in the working Winery, every visit is a tour.

☼  We always have special treats for Designated Drivers!!!

☼  Cheese Lovers...we pair Maple Dale cheese with our tastings.
